individual coaching because it is the best way to help people apply
the information they learn and to make certain that the application
is sustained over time. We added coaching to management development
programs over four years ago so we are experienced in what other coaches
are just starting to do.
- NTU pioneered effective short-session training in the Bay Area in
1993, so we are highly experienced in working with technical management.
- NTU knows how to train managers to be coaches.
The individual coaching they experience serves as a model for them,
allowing them to be effective as coaches.
- NTU has more than one coach available. This allows
individuals to have a choice. Since the coaching relationship is a highly
personal one, trust and rapport are essential.
- The NTU coaches were trained in coaching schools
accredited by the International Coaches Federation AND they are highly
experienced business trainers and consultants. This means that they
know when to switch from coaching into development or consulting. The
coaching clients get the benefit of over 25 years of experience and
learn new skills as well as learning more about themselves.
