Learn to coach by being coached

Executives and managers need to learn coaching and other modern management skills. To meet their busy schedules, their need for the most efficient use of time and the reduction in budgets, individual management coaching is the ideal development tool. Individual coaching by a trained business coach with a background in management training provides assistance tailored to the exact needs of each individual manager. Coaching can be done by phone, so that travel or distant location is no problem. In addition, coaching can be combined with assessments and a highly effective series of 3-hour classes in Coaching skills.

We guaranty results from Coaching held three times a month for 6-8 months:

  • 100 percent of clients will know their blind spots at the end of the coaching sessions.
  • 70-80 percent of the clients will try something new.
  • At least 60 percent of clients who are coached at least 21 times will sustain behavior changes.

How does the Coach work?

  • Encouraging experimentation with new ways of communicating and/or managing.
  • Challenging people to set ambitious personal goals and holding them accountable for keeping their word.
  • Using penetrating questions to get people thinking about what might be possible.
  • Providing a sounding board for managers to try out communication with employees or others.
  • Guiding people to take new perspectives on their lives.
  • Serving as a “safe ear” apart from the constraints of the corporate environment.
