Coaching Corporate Coaching is results-oriented and based upon solid management practices. Knowledge gained during 20 years of corporate management experience and 20 years of management training stands behind the coachs work with each individual. At times the work is to help people reveal their blind spots. At other times it is to provide them with new skills. The coach plays a number of roles sometimes consultant, sometimes trainer, sometimes trained listener. Coaching can be done for skills, development, performance, or other agendas held by the client. |
What does the organization gain from Coaching? Poor management leads to lost of staff, poor morale and a decline in productivity A recent poll of 50 senior HR managers revealed that most good people who resign are open to leaving because of the way they were managed. Even in times when replacements are greatly available, it hurts the organization to lose good people. Productivity dips until the new person is up to speed and fully accepted into the group. The actual costs of acquiring a replacement can be staggeringly high. "Since the coaching training, managers are paying more attention to giving positive feedback. In addition, fewer problems are being brought to senior management to fix because managers are handling more employee issues themselves. Because we trained the entire organization in communication styles and feedback, people have the tools to give feedback to each other and are taking responsibility for doing so."
